Orleans Parish District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro’s office and the city must prove why they still need Errol Houston Jr.’s handgun, three years after he last faced a criminal count, a federal appeals court ruled Tuesday. The ruling by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, scrapping its earlier opinion in the case, could lead to a change in how prosecutors and police view their right to hold on to seized evidence in criminal cases that are dropped but still could be prosecuted later. “This is really a hugely important victory,” said Marjorie Esman, executive director of ACLU of Louisiana, which represented Houston. “It absolutely changes how the DA’s office is going to have to treat property they retain that they don’t really have any need to retain.”

I am looking for a see through mount that (perhaps if it fits the bill) will mount a M16 4×32 military copy scope with stanag scope mount arms #21 connection. I have no idea what ‘stanag scope mount arms #21‘ is and if it is a viable option. Mubah SWFA [Industry Partner] 1/9/2008 3:31:45 PM Here is a pic of a Kahles stanag scope mount arms #21 style scope we are currently selling on ebay: The two screws you see protruding out of the blocks is the “stanag scope mount arms #21” concept, and below is a stanag scope mount arms #21 style mount. Just remove the two screws and align your scope above the holes drilled into the mount. Come up from the bottom of the mount with the screws and screw them back into the scope. Once done your mount will then be securely clamped to the scope. So if you see a mount with the two round holes on the end it is stanag scope mount arms #21 compatible. This mount is an ARMS #19 Dovetail / stanag scope mount arms #21 Throw Lever Mount. It’s not see through though. maxicon

Yes, the Mil-Dot version has been discontinued for quite some time now. Once in a while, you can find one pop-up in a classified ad. They “replaced” it with the FLP linked above – basically a hash reticle, but there were *very* significant QA issues with it and it had something on the order of a 75% failure/problem rate, so Bushnell stopped production to re-design it. It’s currently not been re-released yet. I’ve been on the waiting list for one for about 6 months or so. No ETA yet on the release of the FLP version. God bless Wyr Thank you guys for your responses. I understand now. Patrick ricochet7: You kinda get what you pay for, but a cheapAR-15 scopedoes not mean innacurate. Mostly clarity, brightness and dependability are the reasons aAR-15 scopemight cost more than another. Buy what you can afford and enjoy it, but accept nothing cheap lasts forever.
